I had a creative breakthrough when I was painting here. One thing that I find interesting is the face that appears in the middle of the painting. It’s a state park 10 miles up the road from Ghost Ranch, New Mexico. People like to come here to hear the awesome echoes.

Big Beach on Maui is a popular swimming and snorkelling place for tourists alike. When I had this painting on display people would recognize it from their travels to Hawaii.
Some of the best windsurfers in the world come here to catch the big waves. I was caught by the way the light caught the top of the waves as they crashed.

This was painted in Maui. It was one of those days where I has just enough time to dash out between gusts of range. I liked the moodieness of the storm clouds just off in the distance.
